Chrome wheels

For these in the Dallas area, if anyone is interested in a set of the 03 factory chrome wheels, get back to me ASAP! I'm not going to swap to the chrome wheels, but mine are on order. I either have to cancel the order NOW, or let it ride and let someone buy them off of me.

Price is just what I would pay. I think it's just about a grand if you keep your old wheels.

Anyway, I'll let this post run today but tomorrow I have to cancel. The wheels will most likely be here in a week or so.

I haven't seen the wheels in person, but no one has really jumped up and down after installing them. And by the responses to this message, I'm not too sure many are interested.

I personally like chrome wheels, but for some reason this style doesn't hold well to chrome. Maybe if they chromed all the wheel instead of just the outer part.

A bigger market would be non 2003 owners. We have the option.

I agree, but I'm not trying to sell them because I have to...

My post was to give the option to those that might be waiting on their letters to order and they could get a jump on the wheels.

If I was trying to sell them, I would definately take the posting to a bigger venue.

They only chromed the outer part of the wheel?

Wow I had CHrome Bullitts and I think they were chromed everywhere.

I guess Im not getting them...i think the aluminum wheels look better on yellow anyway.

Mac, it is my understanding that the whole wheel is chromed. You're talking about the regular production chrome wheel option, right? Who told you that only the outer portion is chromed?

I haven't seen them. but I heard they Chrome only half way into the wheel.

The inside is a chrome finish, but it's not polished...Maybe I should have been a little clearer.

It sounds like they polish to the inside spokes and stop there.

Again, I have never seen the wheels in person.

I appreciate everyone's posts on this subject. I've decided to cancel the chrome wheels on my '03 Cobra order (due in February) and will go with the standard aluminum wheel.
