So i currently have a 2004 competition orange GT and I was wondering if it would be worthwhile to buy a 1996-98 cobra as a replacement, and I mean worthwhile based on performance potential and resale

I would go for it, bolton power would make for good driving. Unless its a certain situation a cobra will always bring a premium over a GT, its state law.
