Asian culture in general do not value animal lives like we do, period. You see it in most Asian countries. Everytime we visited my x-girlfriend's brother, he would have some new animal that he bought for his kids. So one time we go over there and he's got this big rabbit, about 12" long or so in a glass aquariam that's about 12.25" long. He was sitting in his own piss and crap. I voiced my opinion to him that the living arrangements for that rabbit was completely immoral. He just chuckled, like I was joking.. We come back a week later and the rabbit died for some reason. Gee, wonder why... Just pisses me off.
