Changing the oil in my eaton... HELP!!

So what about the back berings? does the oil circulate to the back, or sealed bearings back there?

The oil is self containing and is only in the snout. The back bearings are just needle bearings with bearing grease. Anytime you pull the rotors out is when you should clean, inspect and add more grease to them.

Called a couple reputable performance shops for a last minute opinion as i plan to do this today finally and they both said run factory SC oil and nothing else. Doesnt matter what brand... KB, Whipple, Motorcraft, GM, etc but they said it MUST be the SC oil. Mobil 10w30 doesnt give the same protection they say.

Just throwing that out there since its what i was told. Not saying they are right or wrong... just thought it was interesting...

My old college roomate works as a spuercharger tech at Eaton. He says to NEVER USE REGULAR OIL!!!.. I think I'll listen to him!
