Changing oil for first time?

Going to be changing oil for first time in my car. Now i was wondering how many quarts does car take and will stp oil filter be fine or should i just buy motorcraft one or wix. Have 2011 gt m6 brembo package

Eight quarts and a filter of your choice. But this is all in the owners manual.

I'd buy the motorcraft or K&n filter and use Amsoil to replace

Put 7 1/2 quarts in then check it before putting the full 8 in.

Bought car used so it did not come with owners manual, i was going to stick with 5-20 mobil 1 unless u guys think is should change over

8.5 qts if you have an oil cooler. some folks are running 0w30, 5w30 and even 10w30.

Nothing wrong with Mobil 1 either , if your not experiencing any issues id just stick with that and the motorcraft oil filter

8 quarts of Mobil 1 5w20 and a Motorcraft filter for me.

Don't use and stp filter there junk. Run motorcraft or some of the other options posted. You be fine with Mobil 1 5w20 and it takes 8qts
