Haha, all this talk of detailing makes me think of my days in Houston and the "detail days" we would have. Just a bunch of guys claybar'ing/waxing their SVT's and listening to rock music. Good times.

anyone know of a good shop (and i mean trust worthy that does awesome work) that can buff black? i hear you cant just let anyone go at it...its a skill? i need it done badly before "winter" comes. but i really want all the swirls gone. preferably in or around austin

This is where I found my detailer however he became so swamped with clients he only does existing customers only.

IMO Most "detailers" in the yellow pages are hacks.
Only hire a guy that uses a grit guard and uses the 2 bucket wash method.
If they don't, look elsewhere.
