Anybody know how to remove the stock radio? The FM/AM radio works but the cd player just says "CD error". Is there a way to fix this?
Tousley wants almost $1200 for a new.

If i go double din set up, how hard is it to do the install?

Thanks in advance.

Very easy install. Just get a Metra install kit, with the 70-5519 harness to retain factory speakers and amps.

Pretty easy install for a double din. I have a kenwood double din in my 04, if you go that route, all of us can help you with the install. If you are looking for a plug and play, I have a mint mach 460 out of my 38k mile 04 for sale if you are interested. I think I even left a CD in there for you.

Just get the PIE auxilary adapter that lets you play any mp3 player over it. That is what I have got. Have not put a cd in it in 3 years.

It's easy to swap out. I got a cheap single din unit from Crutchfield and I swear it sounds better than the stock unit. No need to change out the amps or speakers either.

Sounds like a great opportunity/excuse to upgrade from the factory system.
