After replying to PhillyR/T's thread in Smackdown, it occurred to me that I had left out my Dodge D150 truck. I inherited it a couple of years ago from my granpappy (god rest his soul) and it is a '90 model with 23,000 original miles... A little beat up by a 80+ y.o. driver, but mechanically sound. Reg cab, reg bed, 318 EFI (5.2L), Automatic. Keeps the Cobra in the garage during Texas thunderstorms...Originally posted by Blue98Cobra
My "not nearly as impressive as T-Snake's" list (in order of obtainment):
'72 Olds Cutlass Supreme (Rocket 350)
'80 Chevy Citation V6
'86 Mercury XR3 - bought new
'89 Ford Escort GT - bought new
'79 Kawasaki KZ 650 (had to include the bike!)
'92 Nissan NX2000 (wife's first ride) - bought new
'78 Datsun 280Z (rare 5-spd)
'89 Probe GT Turbo
'99 Infiniti G20t (wife's current ride) - bought new
latest and greatest...
'98 Cobra (one of the 563 blue coupes, ever)
As for the Citation comment, sohowcome, most of us have had a turd in the stable, at one time or another (you included, obviously) and, for a college student in 1983, five doors, 140HP 2.8L V6, auto, 30K miles for $2,500 wasn't half bad...
