car nt running normal! need help!

I'd assume lower octane could make it run a little rougher but I don't think it'd cause a popping sound while under load... I could be wrong though.

Is the 87 still in the tank? It could be detonation you're hearing if it is but it would be more of a ping.

so i had a mechanic check the car out and he told me i had a bad air valve, oil cooler, and water pump.... now my car is just sitting there till i get the funds for the parts.. this blows!!!

why is the water pump bad? are you over heating?? same as oil cooler... what was his diagnoses.. u might be getting railed

I think its just an oil cooler hose. Idk how the water pump went bad. The car sat for nearly a year. What kind of problems could that cause??
