Get someone to help you. Take the gas cap off and stick your ear REAL close. Have someone turn the key to "on", but not start it. See if you can hear the pumps run for a few seconds then shut off. If they do, does the system build pressure? If they don't build pressure, but do run, sounds like a pump problem. Oh yea...you have changed your fuel filter haven't you??? It's not plugged is it? Plugged filters take out more pumps than anything else. The next step is to see if the system maintains pressure while cranking. With some logical thinking, you should be able to determine what is happening. If your pumps won't run at all, then you need to see if they are getting current. If so, then it's pumps. If not, you look at fuses, relays, etc.

This can take some time, but is not difficult to determine.

i would check the fuel pump relay fuse, not sure which one it is but if its blown the car will run for a while based upon the fuel in the lines, and then the engine will die.

consequently, this is the exact process you use to relieve fuel system pressure to change hard-lined fuel filters. (if you can't just 'pinch' off the lines with plyers)

a blown fuse isnt a problem, its a symptom of a problem. your job now is to determine why the fuse blew and resolve that issue.

well he indicated a series of 6500k+ runs, which must have pushed his pump to the limits. should not be an issue with the pump hopefully...
