I keep plugging away but it will probably have to be in the fall if it happens! I saw that ported blower in your sig:rockon: How do you like it? Its so tempting to port this one because it's such a fun setup to run!
Love it Justin! With the GT500's, mod for mod is about 80 RWHP more than the Terminators, (but they're 255 lbs heavier!). But with the 5.4, they are torque monsters. The GT500 Eaton's are a better design than the M-112 on the 03/04's so don't respond with quite as much power improvement when ported.

Put some 26s on it. It should sixty just a little harder if you can hook on them, getting you where you want to be. I know my 450rwhp car goes about 2 tenths faster on 26s than it does 28s.

Have you tried to lower your launch rpm's to where the car dead hooks and goes without a bog? Maybe yours won't do it being an upper only and no port but my car kept knocking the 60's down by doing that. I started off launching at 6,000+ and then at the end of the year was down to 4,800 from memory and I was still going to go lower than that but the auto went in.

Doesn't seem like any of us had much of a Spring.

Usually I launch at same rpm my peak torque is at

you just need to dial in those 28s better. 28 will always hook better as it has more tire to pavement contact. Your launching technique just works better on 26s. there deff isnt a 2 tenth difference between the two.

what are your 60's man? In the one vid the car is a little bouncy off the line. If you could get it to leave better it go 6.9s. Work on the 60s....then when you think those wont get any better watch your 330s. The 330 is a critical part of the equation also.

The last time it was at the track it cut a 1.50 60'. Thats the best it has ever cut. That was with the 2-step on 5600rpms. The 330 was a 4.55. It usually stays consistent in the 1.51-1.53 60' and 4.56-4.59 330'. I don't know how to make is not bounce?

well there is a hurdle right there. The fastest unported car was in the mid to high 1.4s.

Getting rid of the bounce is a combination of everything. when the back of the car goes up its essentially losing traction each time. Just takes time and patience and lots of adjustments!
