Can you ID this car? Make/Model/Year? Car prowler scum...

Caught this guy on camera trying to break into the neighbors utility van, and I'm not sure of the make, model, and year of this sedan.
I was hoping someone might be able to identify it based on a still image from my security camera.

At first I thought it was an older Mitsubishi, but it may also be a Civic.
The car appears to be silver or grey, and it looks like it has black body molding down the side.
Any help would be appreciated.

I thought gallant at first too, but the lines on the C pillar seem to not match

The snow built up around the wheels and other places is giving it a different look. The quarter panel between the door and rear window looks a little off from a 3 series. The snow could cover that reflector on the bumper of a G20 up. The G20 was a re-badged Nissan Primera, not sure if they sold them in Canada.

Looks like it has a third brake light between the taillights. Can't see it until he hits the brakes, at least that's what it looks like to me.

my vote is the BMW because it has that plastic bump guard going down the length of the car. The Infiniti didn't have it
