I talked to my dealer the other day he is a friend of the family so he is up front with me and he told me that the new build date for the GT500 is june 26
Prodution got held up so it did not start on June 5 like every one thought
So that one thread that stated there was one in a showroom must have been one ford brought down to show off just like they did at a ford dealer here in St.Louis

I was on the phone with the man in charge of the program. He said "the GT500 launch is tomorrow" as we discussed when he could hook it up with a car to take some pics of, along with various other SVT business. That was June 5th. Blah, Mr. Poopy pants.

You will find more than one confirmation, from people that actually work with the cars, that production started. Vehicles are being held for QC until the end of June, with dealership deliveries slated for the last week of June or first week of July.
