So I have a 2013 GT premium:

-Stock short block,
-Boss 302 Intake,
-Novi 2200 SL with torque booster setup and 10.15 psi spring. 3.33 pulley
-1000cc ID injectors & BAP...Tuned on 93, not super aggressive 649 rwhp & 498#ft
-Long tubes, off raod x pipe, magna flow muffs
-Tremec Magnum XL-- 2.66 first gear & twin disc clutch, 4.10 rear

So given the above and not looking to build the block right yet....What should i go for next....and no not going turbo :rolling:
This is mostly fun street car with a few drag strip runs here and there.
Looking for more midrange and a little top end gains

--8 rib setup, one size smaller pulley 3.125", waste gate spring to 11.7 psi and retune
Will fuel support? Should bring midrange up a bit and not a ton top end? Still safe for internals?

--Or keep what I have and add a set of new cams?

Also may drop the rear gear to 3.73 next go? Yes ..No??

99.9%stock

cuz stock sucks!!!

I say fuel system and E85/E98 and remove line to waste gate with new tune. then you can go back to pump gas with out a bunch of work

E85 fuel system and 11.6psi spring in wastegate on a 3.33 pulley. Car would be an animal.

Let me know if you need anything.

Ok,

So with that being said, fuel system seem the way to go...

But what about adding the slightly smaller pulley as well (add more mid range) and still limit the top end at 11.6psi?
Block and internal safe?

I'd probably still go 8 rib too then

Fuel system & E85!

If your already making 648whp, switching to E85 and adding more timing is pretty much going to max out your shortblock. You won't need to up the boost and it will actually be safer with a better/more consistent fuel.

Cool, so what about the smaller pulley for more mid still, and keep the 10.15 psi spring.
True with 650rwhp now, i am not really supper concerned with a bunch more top end. More mid and some top.

Or will the mid pick up a ton with the E85 tune alone

depends on how your timing is set. Most of the additional power from e85 is from increased timing. If they increase it a lot in the midrange it will pick up. I wouldn't do the 11lb spring on a stock block and definitely not with e85.

one thing i should mention too (which I forgot) is I am injection water/methanol at 4psi and above.
With that said is E85 going to add much over the meth?

That being said, i still think a fuel system of sorts would be beneficial even on 93 and meth.
But not set on going to E85 yet!
