i don't know too much about tint, but what is generally considered legal??

also, how much does it cost (ballpark figure) for tint all the way around??

Legal is determined by state. I know here it's 35% which is really like having no tint at all IMO...

Also tint jobs vary on the brand and quality tint you get. Mine cost me $100 for my whole car to be tinted including the vinyl in the rear window. It's Lumar I belive and has a lifetime warranty/ :beer:

Damn this makes me wanna get my front windshield tinted, i have 5% on the sides and rear and it's a bitch, i wish i woulda got 15%.

So do you recommend 35% or 50% on the front? it looks really nice...

I would not waste the money to get 35%... 15-20 is perfect and you wont get pulled over for it. Cops can see through it when its mid day and its nice and dark as soon as the sun goes down. I have 5% on my TA

Here is my stang with (2) layers of 15%. Reason for that was it had 15% and i wanted darker, and the guy said it would be chaper to just layer over the tint then to remove the old tint and retint. So that is about 7-8%

Been pulled over twice and then i pull out the doctors note! lol Saying the sun hurts my skin. And they cant do anything.

Is it a real doctors note? Thats a good idea, I dunno if the cops around here would go for it though.....

I just bought the rear overlays for the lights and I will be getting tinted soon, this thread is helping me out a lot. Great looking Cobras guys. I noticed a lot of you guys have the polished lip with black rims, that looks real nice too, and has me contemplating that kind of look.
