oh no im more or less talking about JLT's or C&L's product. Not to sure on the one above... i cant see how that thing is actually grabbing any air but hot engine bay air

It uses the stock snorkel also

If you get the cervinis hood, you can get this and have functional hood scoops.

From what's been posted online, I think it's fair to say that the tune does provide most of the power with most tune/cai combos, but if you look, I remember a few tuning companies out there posted power increases with stock airbox and tune, and then CAI and tune, and there's definitely power to be found with the CAI. I know the KN filter will increase airflow a bit, but ultimately it doesn't increase the surface area as much as a CAI usually does.
