It does look like the vette was starting to pass but the 5.0 did pretty good based on how well the c7 performs. Without knowing the mods its hard to say though.

Thats my buddies C7, its a bone stock 7spd. The vette also had 2 200-250lb brosiffs in it with the roof off, while the coyote was ridin solo. That vid is from a local cruise we did to galveston last weekend. I have a lot of vids that I need to post from that cruise (I was riding co-pilot in my buds ctsv). We had 3 pulls with that GT, and he stayed fairly close when the V was in the wrong part of the powerband or wrong gear (The V is making 556whp). I would venture to guess its a full bolt on car.

Very non-conclusive video, though. I'd like to see a proper 30-40mph roll start and see how much the Vette gains on the Mustang.

I don't know about the C7, but my C6 with the roof off was like having a parachutte behind the car.
