I dropped my axle so I could paint it and install a set of 4.10 gears. I finished the gear install this weekend. I still have to sand and paint the caliper mounting plates so the axles are still out.

I searched a little but still have a few questions.

I plan on being close to 800 rwhp after a dyno tune with BMR solid LCA's and UCA with the 4.10 gear running a 29 inch tall slick.

Would it be plausible to install a set of c-clip eliminators?

With the stock 8.8 axles is welding required? How does the c-clip eliminator keep the axle in the housing?

Thanks,
Yeller

I did read that people said they would leak. I am only going to make a few passes once and awhile.

I think I will stick with the c-clips.
