by having a 03/04, has it change your social life?

I went from an SRT-4 to the Cobra. I met tons of people while owning the SRT-4, but the arrival of our newborn son has limited my ability to meet more Cobra owners.

As far as attention goes, I get the same amount as I did when I drove the SRT-4. The only diference is the age of the admirer/onlooker.

My problem with the Cobra is that every dickhead in a $2,000 Accord or Eclipse with a $5,000 stereo and maxwell house coffee can catback wants some action at every stoplight. It's very annoying. I'm 36 and past that point now.

I have only had my Cobra for a little over one month, but I have met some great people at several car shows. I am in several civic organizations, and clubs, and it seems that car "guys and gals" are some of the most friendly folks. I think I have the only '03/'04 in my area, and most people really do not know what to make of my car, but they all seem to realize it is something very different.

1. I don't ride my gsxr 1000 anymore
2. met alot of new car guys
3. spent a crap load of money
4. almost lost a fiance (sp)
5. never spent more time on SVT performance:rockon:

i was surprised at how many girls my age know what a cobra is.....they love it!!!! when they ask how fast it is just tell em to get in and hold on, it is wierd but girls get turned on by goin really fast in a powerfull car. i have also gotten respect from other domestic owners like LS1's and vettes....even vipers. i have only had this beast about 2 weeks and i have seen first hand the diffence in the way a cobra is viewed as opposed to a loud GT.
