Buying laptop for girlfriend, needs opinions

Buying a used laptop for my girlfriend and need opinions on it.

IMO it looks to be nice, except for that first photo where the edges of the screen, especially the top left, look gunky. Of course a seller can say it was used by an adult, but there's no way to prove that. Decent hardware, though, and it's less than a year old.

I know you're in Canada, but just to show you what else is out there, here is a brand new HP 15.6" laptop on eBay selling for $549.99.

I would check eBay and see if you can find something new/like new for around the same price.

What specific model is this HP laptop?
