Sounds like the F-Body Boyzzzz setups aren't fully optimized. Even though stalled auto run better from a dig the should do well from a roll especially with a cam....
Probably have a crap TCI converter....even with the other issues [ running out of nitrous and nitrous tune ]

OP did you buy your car stock and do the mods yourself? Have you had your car on a dyno just to see where its at? Seems like you either have a freak or the guys you were racing can't drive for shit. Good kills all the same.

We thought that so I installed a autometer boost gauge and it actually is reading 6psi, they said it should read 7 but my belt is stock and im close to 50k and I have no cats.

well the guy i was racing went 11.4 lifting the wheels with a lid, catback and 100 shot and its an auto. Not hard to race a auto. I think alot of the videos of cobras getting waxed has to do with the cobra owner not driving good.
Bought the car bone stock. 4x4 and everything, even the usual 30k alternator failure. I bought a bassani cb and a x-pipe and a jlt cai and a check engine light. Thats all I got and a mgw handle. I cut coupe springs and thats about it.
Im going to dyno for 20 bucks and 2 pulls :rockon: the 24th I think.

Curious why you think an upper pulley is going to change things a whole bunch? You do realize that the pulley doesn't really add as much as people think it does. It is usually done along with other mods so people assume its raising the boost that does the meat of the power increase, but in more than a few terminators that have been worked on in my garage I saw bigger gains from the CAI and Midpipe/ exhaust +tune, vs 2.80 pulley+tune. The motor from the factory is choked up big time.
Both of those LS1s would have put the hurtin on him, but since they were forged I would almost bet they are lower compression (so they can spray more gas!), so they were leaving a ton on the table running him no bottle. I'm not saying it's something that was bound to happen, but I wouldn't rule it out.
