That's probably what it would cost to buy everything and do everything he did so i think that price is pretty fair imo
have to agree i prob could buy a used cobra engine and trans for half of that

No doubt about it you could, but this motor is much stronger than an 03/04 motor and also doesn't have the extra 80 lbs of the iron block. To duplicate this all brand new would probably cost you more than $6500 including assembly.
Its a lot of money, but it is worth it if thats the kind of motor you need.
