looked like sti had the run.... who races through 5th gear lol.. rx-7 was being pulled the whole run until sti stoped.. I would say Sti won that one!

The guy driving the STI said he was starting to get pulled up top and then let off. He said he was power shifting just to try and hang. The guy in the STI and the guy in the RX7 are good friends so I don't think they would lie to each other, but then again all is fair in love and racing. haha

you have too

STi are very short geared cars, 04 to 06 STi transmission 1st gear tops out 25mph, 2nd gear 52mph, 3rd gear 70mph, 4th gear 100mph, 5th gear 140mph using the factory 7200rpm redline

07 and up has different 2nd 3rd and 4th gear ratio, but 5th gear still ends at up 140mph at 7200rpm
