Good runs. Evo’s are fast until they have to shift to their overdrive gear (5th) then they drop too much rpm and fall on their face. I had an MR with the 6spd so my car pulled very hard all the way to 170mph, the 5spd evos are the ones that run into that overdrive gear problem.
Nailed it ... I have some friends that have regeared to 4.11 from 4.56, and that helps, but you're right, they die in 5th. I've had 5 of these, loved them all, but I avoided tracks that I had to use 5th gear lol.

It’s amazing to me that the 4g63 is still able to be such a viable competitor even today, in the days of 700+ HP showrooom stock offerings.
