I don't know about Texas but all those mature trees would be a bank buster here in California.

What does landscaping like that not only set you back, but how long did it take to set all the trees?

They sure made an amazing change in the looks of the property. Really nice.

I just cut two of mine out...felt bad doing it, but they were dropping nuts in my pool every morning.

We priced out getting the drive way done in cement. $24k. Ouch. It will stay gravel for a while at that price!

Yes it is pricey for cement. I'm looking to get my driveway done 300 ft by about 10 chip and seal $6000 with a wider entry and a it goes to about 30 ft wide close to the house. Lot of companies in Austin area.

I really enjoyed following along to the thread Driftwood, especially after going through the process last year. You did a lot of good things to the house. Very tasteful. Enjoy it for the years to come!

Beautiful home, congratulations to you and the family. Where I live, that would be $1.5m or more.

No kidding on the price. I just renovated a few condos last winter in Wellesley Ma. A 2 bedroom 1200 square foot condo that hasn't been updated since it was build in the 70's, they were going for 1-1.5 mill needing a complete renovation. This house would be an easy 4-5 million in Wellesley.

That's why guys like Driftwood and myself didn't build houses in those areas. :)

I need a GD ball holder.

I spent 20 minutes looking for pool balls Saturday because my 1 year old had them scattered through the basement.

House looks great. Probably 450-500k here, maybe a smidge more depending on quality of interior (which looks very nice from pics)
