building my first 4v

as the title says, im building a 99 cobra 32v and currently in the process of acquiring all of the parts to get it running.

I will be putting this engine in a 51 Ford F1, my question for everyone is:

what do you all recommend for injection and spark? I only have the coils as far as electronics go.

im trying to go on the lowest possible budget for parts.

If it was going in a truck, and you have room.....id be going 5.4 DOHC

Do yourself a favor and find a running and driving mark viii and use all the electronics out of it.

I've seen them around for under 2k.

There are conversion kits and distributors for these engines but I dont know how much that stuff sells for.

just picked up a Ron francis wiring harness and ECU. This way i wont have to worry about the extra dash harness required to run the stock engine harness.

I picked up the teksid block, forged crank (new) a pair of new C heads 99 Cobra intake all the accessories and bolts for $2100 bucks. the only thing i will need now is an intake tube and MAF.

I have a 2004 Crown vic front cradle to fab up to the truck and a 2002 explorer 8.8 rear end to use with a 4 link.

my plans are going to be getting a 3550/3650 or T56 if the price is right.
