Just had a thought seeing as it's all about losing weight for the 1/4mile would there be any advantage in taking the buck off, would less weight be outdone by lack of traction as no weight over rear wheels
and is it an easy job to remove the buck

So your asking would it be a good thing to take the bed of the truck off.....I can't say I have ever heard of anyone doing it. But to answer your question and this is just my opinion, I think it would do more harm than good. Again this is only my opinion

You wont have anytraction my friend.......Leave the bed on but taken off the hitch, spare, spare winch, getting a rollpan and taken off the the rear steel heavy bumper, pass seat, floor jack would help you out in loosing weight.

Just one thought here, you will be slinging rocks and rubber in all directions which could damage the back of the cab and/or break the window, buy hey, I would like to see the results as well. Video is required.:pepper:
