Broken PS mirror

I posted this on another forum, I'm posting here hoping someon will have a definitive answer:

Aparently someone hit my PS mirror. I was washing my car and noticed that it looked a little tweeked so when I took a closer look I saw the scuff marks from a door of sorts. So I tried moving the mirror slightly and it completely broke.

I managed to get a new one (they are friggen expensive & discontinued) but I need to get it painted to match.

Does anyone know how to remove the mirror glass so I can paint it??

Not going to read any of them because I just did this. If they say you have to remoe the wires from the connector that's wrong.

Take the glass out.
Remove the three torx screws behind glass.
Remove the three torx screws on swivel/ base plate.
Gently wiggle assembly out of painted mirror threw the swivel hole.
10min tops to get apart.
