It's been a long winter and just finished a few things on the '01 Cobra. Took it out today for the first time and it runs & cruises fine. Take off in 1st gear at about 1200 rpm's and lay into it a bit and it feels like sledgehammers bouncing off the undercarriage and makes tons of noise. Other than that it runs perfect. It's not wheel hop I think something is broke in the 8.8.
Last fall I shattered the rear cover and bent the driveshaft. I put it all back together new Billet cover, Bilsteins, aluminum driveshaft and every bolt on IRS goodie. No hop and it was fine, but probably beat up something inside the center and now it's acting up.
Any ideas ?????:??:

Check your engine and transmission mounts.
DS might be hitting the floorboard.
OE engine mounts are pretty cheap if that is what it is.
