looks like ffw at norwalk last month here in ohio. totally unorganized, no participants in the car show, no spectators in the grandstands.
if it wasn't for the few racers that showed up there would have been no one there.

In true TN fashion everyone in the stand is over weight practically.
The car show had a good turnout but the racer car count was WAY down. The only reason I go to FFW is to watch True Street and outlaw cars run. There is a ton of 1/8 mile bracket cars that show up to our FFW and it ruins the event, IMO.
I didn't take too many pics at the car show portion becuase I was talking to bunch of people most of the time and it was early in the morning. Thanks guys!

Yeah it sucked this year in commerce ga too.
I hope Bristol drops FFW and picks up an NMRA event.
BTW, just to show how bad FFW is struggling, at Bristol it wasn't Ford only...any brand could show up and race.....awesome

I'll try to get some of mine up tomorrow. I think I have one of every car in the show.
i went to ffw in dallas last year just to bracket race the old torino, no fans and spectators for the 10.5 and pro class. its really a shame.

What you said is sad but true. I used to go to one or two FFW in the region but the turnout was so dismal I haven't been back for one since 2006. What used to really tick me off is the number of big name drivers that would cancel and not show up.
I often wonder how they can even afford to put these on. :shrug:
I am trying to get my pics uploaded to Photobucket and have them on here later today. They said this years car show field at Bristol had some of the best cars they had seen in a long time. When I did not receive a trophy I went up and asked why. He said my car was to stock appearing and I needed to spend more money dressing my car up. I said nope mine is more valuable like it is.

So the MystiChrome in the show was yours? Clean car:dancenana: I was over at the car show early Saturday morning and it was already packed, so if anyone came in a little later it was already a "good" show so I believe that about this show being the best.
I got in free so it made it worth the trip over for me, haha.:beer:

Yes sir it was mine. I am still uploading shots of all the cars there. Plus Crystal in her underwear posing with the California Special. My wife really did not appreciate her strutting her stuff almost in my nose.
I stopped going to FFW in Commerce, GA. years ago. The entry few was too high for what it was and I just said screw it. Been there done that.
