You are aware of the people of the state in question? The sound of anything over a 2 stroke frightens them.
This guy terrorized those streets for years and was never voted off the island

People have no idea how Hawaii is only unless they actually lived there...

Did 37 months there and I'll never go back.

The only two good things that Hawaii gave me was my daughter and my marauder.

...no thanks!

Seems like people either hate it or love it, no in between. I made the decision that I was going to bring it but this thread is really making me think different. Another thing I am worried about is transporting it, its got a long way to go which opens a lot of opportunity for scratches, dings, etc.

Brother, I shipped my marauder from Hawaii to north Carolina. It acquired tons of scratches and dings on it.

Oh, and it cost over $2600.

Don't take your cobra to Hawaii. I left my mystic in North Carolina for the whole tour.

Also, do you like pot holes?

We were on the Big Island and loved it.. We stayed away from Honolulu and avoided the less economically developed areas and it was nice. You couldn't pay me to live near or in the cities.

Op, some more things...

High crime and the locals aren't who you think they are.. you'll see.

Some are actually cool, the other 80% are out of control.

The ford dealership on windward though is good.

Damn, I don't know what to do... Maybe I will just flip a coin, I make most of my decisions that way anyways.

I️ know for a fact, we transport cars on military ships, especially if the ship is going to be home ported there and it’s making it maiden voyage to that port.

^Exactly. When my ship's home port was switched from Alameda to Bremerton that's how cars were transported. I wasn't comfortable with no insurance coverage from my insurer so I took a few days leave and drove up.

Wow...I stand corrected. The USAF does not use the many cargo aircraft to transport POVs. Was stationed in Alaska and Germany and had to ship vehicles using contract transport. It was free but not done by the military.
I learned something today and now I know.

Several sailors took the Navy up on their offer and shipped their cars on the carrier.

very expensive to ship, and there is a chance it could get damaged. I say leave it at home.
