bower oil change

hey all . i` changing the oil in the supercharger, gonna go with royal purple.
what viscosity and how much? my supplemntal manual says nothing about it...

its an 04 cobra.

i dont think you use regular oil in the S/C, i know theres a specific oil that you can only use in the supercharger....

You really should not use anything other then the OEM Ford Blower oil.

Here is the oil. Just order it from Ford. It runs about $25 a bottle.

The Ford oil and the GM oil is EXACTLY the same except for the price. The Ford stuff is around $25 for a 4oz. bottle and the GM stuff is only $5.69 online here http://paceperformance.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=40891 or about $8 or so from a dealer.

You will need 2 bottles to fill it.

The way I did mine was with a large syringe from a turkey seasoning injection kit and about 8 inches of clear fish tank hose. :thumbsup:

Yes Mike. They have a plug in the front of the blower that has an allen wrench fitting in it. :beer:

For when you have the stock pullies and/or no port. The harder you spin the blower, the more heat you're going to create. I read somewhere that if you swap pullies or port or both, you should change it every 15k.
