Your cylinder walls are a Plasma Transfer Wire Arc iron coating and it’s only 150 microns (0.006-inch) thick… it’s been ran for over 140,000 miles…
I’m no ford engineer but… that’s a lot of miles on a block you can’t just rehone, bore out .030 over and call it a day.
These blocks are EXPENSIVE to replace.
Idk what your plans are for the car but I would consider sleeving the block before you go HAM on any performance modifications and or run it like a raped ape…
To give you SOME peace of mind…
“Besides the GT500 blocks, it's used in gas turbines and Caterpillar remanufacturers its diesel cylinders with it, so it's tough stuff.”
Congrats and as mentioned get rid of the rice. Amazing how someone can buy one of the best cars ever made and "make it look better" while actually destroying it. FTL
He’s referring to the windows louvers, and added stickers, etc. Everyone had different taste. A lot of us are enthusiasts and enjoy the car for what it was when it was produced.Destroying her in what way?

I bought my 2011 Shelby gt 500 last year in Australia for $110,000.00 with 26,000km so in American terms 16,100miles
