Well I know the cats will quite down the sound but I'm sure exactly how much.
The only two reasons why I went with catless was because here there are no emmisions/so the car can breath better, and because it was cheaper than catted.
If you want quieter then go with catted you wioll be able to notice the volume diffrence. Although if you're looking for somthing that is "quiet" in general than even the catted might be too loud for you? It all depends on what you like.
