Just a quick video of a dyno hit at 20psi (low boost), on E85, 16 degrees, and .76 Lambda.

We're keeping it very conservative, as we're preparing to run the Texas Mile this weekend. It's got a lot left in it at 20psi. We'll switch to C16 next week and pulley it up to 28psi or so. Hoping to see around 1200 to 1250whp or so.. Which would put us over 1500bhp. The car is absolutely insane at this power level. Lol

Well that aint no 1000+ hp pull, and whats up with your trq numbers they suck. Someone needs to spend some more time figuring out how to bring the trq on better. I realize thats at 16* but come on. For comparison my car is a 5.0 stroker, e85 19* timing 3.4 whipple crusher setup at 25 psi with ported heads and crower cams it made 840 rwhp and 888 rwtq. Very disappointed in this car

You're right. I am assuming that he estimated crank hp. Actual numbers were 907rwhp and 695rwtq. The run sheet photo doesn't show if the numbers are corrected or uncorrected.

Im thinking the bigger blower is less restrictive making less tq. Im just baseing that off the fact that I had a small Maggie 112 on a 403 stroker and at 9lbs boost made 590s/640s iirc. Overspun the blower a couple times trying to turn it up, kept if there and just sprayed it.

What's up with your attitude? It sucks..

The car made 907whp, corrected. That's over 1100 at the crank. I never said 1000whp.

Your car makes more TQ, because either your supercharger or your head/cam combo isn't allowing you to make anything higher, peak power-wise. Post a pic of your graph.

We're nowhere near the limit for this supercharger or head/cam combo. 900whp/700wtq is about right at this boost level, at 16 degrees of timing and .76 Lambda. We don't have it on full kill. This was set up to go and run at the Texas Mile, and we kept it very conservative. The car went 200mph at the 3/4 mile mark at the top of 5th and ran out of gear/tire. It's not slow by any means.

This car will make over 1500hp (1250whp or so) on C16, this week. We'll probably put 20 degrees of timing in it just as it sits, on C85, and make 1050whp or so. I'll gladly post the videos.

You obviously have a nice ride.. why act this way? The car makes over 1000hp.

No point in being a prick.

Edit: Car made plenty of torque.

I'm curious as to why you would switch from C85/E85 to C16? I've heard (no experience) that C85/E85 makes more power than C16.

We're just unsure of the limits on C85 or E85 and don't want to risk it when we max this thing out. I know that C16 will get us there safely from previous experience. We'll probably try C85 at higher boost and see how it works out. But, the gusto pulls will be on C16. :)

Sweet. I've seen a BoostWorks truck running up and down 1463 in front of Firethorne, just never been to the shop.
