BMW i8 performance stats...

Some of you have asked for some stats on this car and if I had to describe it I would say it is the fastest slow car I have ever had...lol.

The biggest drawback of this car is that it looks like it runs 9's. BMW's best looking car imo...but this is no M car, this is an "i" car.

The numbers are very respectable and driving it has been a total blast so far considering it's just a 3 cylinder with electric assist. Tale of the tape...

Can the tune easily be removed to see how much its helping?

It does look like it should be way faster than my stock Mustang GT

for sure...it looks like it should be beating up on mclarens...lol. the tune only gives it about 30hp.

The 60-130 is hilarious. Doesn’t match the 12.10 ET at all. Does it just fall on its face like most electric cars?

Not really. It’s very smooth at those speeds though. Smooth and slow, like my love life.

I heard the motor in another thread, but honestly it doesn't sound like what I'd expect a 3-cylinder motor to sound like. Sounds to me very much like a turbo 6.

it has a decent sound to it...then i turn on the shelby and say, yeah it sounds like crap...lolololol

There is a neighbor that has one in white with blue wheels. Never was a fan but i did not know they were that quick.
