Bizzare accident at the local horse trotter track (Video)

Take a look at this. I've gone to regular racing a lot, trotters only once.
Can't say I've seen anything like this before.

I hope all the jockeys and horses are OK.

Wow, the conditions of the track (including 37 degree temperature) raises the question as to whether or not they should have been racing in the first place. It was very fortunate that there weren't any more serious injuries to the riders (or horses).

There was another article in the local paper yesterday, saying 2 of the jockeys were still in the hospital and reiterated that all of the horses were okay.

They turned that one in to jerky, so yes....all the horses are ok, and well fed...
