They should fit but will buldge a good bit. I think the sidewall would do its job a little better with the 275's.

I just posted in the Pics/Videos area in answer to a similar question. Here's my 295/45/17 MT DR's on 17x9 Saleen rims. They fit fine on my car, the real trick is finding a set for sale.

You can put a 315 on the stock 9" rim. Depends on the brand though...

I've been running 315 BFG's on my stock 9" wheels for a couple of years now. The bulge a good bit, but still fit fine and hook pretty good. I'm going to go with 335 Hoosiers for my next street tire and will go ahead and upgrade to the 10.5" wheels for those.

The hoosiers arnt a "Street Tire." They say not for use on the street right on the side of them, and if you daily drive your car and do not have another set of tires its a very bad choice.

I have ran all kinds of tires. I currently run some BFG 315's on my stock 9's that are a completely street radial. I use those for daily commute. I have a set of hoosier 315's on 10.5's for racing and track use. I will throw them on in 5-10 mins and Im off to race. When I get home I switch back so I can drive in rain and stuff with out dying.

I put this together for another member, and figured I would just make it a post.

Hope this helps.

I agree. My car is a nice day only car that will see about 1k miles a year so the Hoosiers are perfect for my "street tire".
