Better late than never build thread....CPR Turbo Build

Had the car running for a few weeks now, but I'm bored at work today so I thought I would start a build thread and post some pics of the progress the car has made.

Here is how the car started out life the day I picked it up from the dealer.

Now fast forward a little, past the dark times when the car had a supercharger on it for a short amount of time and we find ourselves in the promised land.........

The engine build consists of a sleeved/supported block stuffed with Manley billet I-Beams, diamond pistons and arp hardware. Heads are just a set of factory boss 302 casting with a set of manley valves paired with a set of trick flow valve springs.

The turbo kit is nothing too fancy, just a box of parts that Dustin sent me.

The second time I got to take the car out was last weekend for the Street Car Takeover race in Oklahoma City. We took first in the mod vs Lsx and the street racer class. Also I ran a new personal best with the car in the street racer final

It sees the streets quite a bit now that it's running again. Had it down for almost 2 years with this build.

I started with 100ft and had a little left over, but I didn't wrap the headers.

Not yet, but for sure need one soon. Hope once I get a cage in it can do some weight reduction on this pig, it currently goes across the scales at 3850

Drove the car 30 miles to the track last night to run in a small tire shootout and took home runner up and also ran a new personal best 1/8th mile time.

Definitely amazing but not quite sure how basic it is at this point with a sleeved block and swapped powerglide.
