best year mustang 11 12 or 13

I am new to the coyote mustangs and I am womdering what is the fastest year mustang , and what's the lightest weight wise? I have heard that the cts mustangs are heavier. Dont know if that's true or not. And what about the boss? I am looking into buying one and want to know what's the best one to get. Thanks

They are all the same speed wise... Just exterior change in 2013...

I like the front end of my 12 better, but the 13 tail light are nice. I also don't like the look of the HID headlights. Just my 2 cents.

I have an '11 and absolutely love it, but if you are looking for the best year from a buyers standpoint, I would go with a 13...Newer, re-styled, a couple more hp, track apps, and most of the 11-12 quirks are worked out.

As far as styling goes, I have a love/hate relationship with the front end styling of these cars (11-13), so IDK if I like the 13 over the 11-12's like most seem too.

I am biased but the 11-12 have a meaner looking front end, as far as the rear they both look good IMO. The 13 have a few more hp, but if you tune it they probably equal out.

Id say 12, 11's were the first year had some kinks to get out especially with the mt82. More issues with those years than the 12's. 13's don't look as aggressive and I prefer the front end of the 12 more. 13's have the recaro option which is nice though.

Thanks for the input guys. What about adding the boss intake? Would it help or hurt the performance of the coyote? What's the diffrence between the boss and regular 5.0 ? Is it worth the price diffrence?

Love my 2013, track apps is a cool thing to have. i have the track pkg so the recaros are a nice touch. I looked for about 6-8 months before finding my car. I looked at the 11's and 12's as well but just like the looks and features of the 13 best.

If I had to do it again...
Id buy a 2014 GT/CS DIB with only option of NAV. Then Id add StopTech brakes to it.

I like my 2012, but the DIB is sooo nice and I wish I had NAV. the CS is nice with the Alcantra seats and the CF dash, boss rear valance and nice grill.

Then add Alcoa Super Snake wheels to it... :burnout:

But at this point I cant justify trading in my car + $8k then the price of the wheels!

It's completely a matter of taste.. I like that my 2011 is the cheapest out of them all, I like the 2011-12 front end the best but don't have a clear favorite as far as the rear and hood. I like the shape of the 2013-14 tail lights better, but not the bumper. I like the little cowl bump on the 2011-12 hood, but like the clean look of the 2013-14. I don't like HID's, and think the saleen grille on the 2011-12 is just the perfect look for these cars. They are more or less the same car to me though.
