Found this today 2011 with full kooks, headers, O/R x-pipe and there catback, it sounds angry like vettes, but better!

Sounds very LSX like when revved... maybe its the new firing order? ALso notice there is no dohc burble.. the sound that older dohc 4.6's make that makes them sound like they're idling under water lol

That's probably due to the rear mounted mufflers and X pipe which makes most S197's sound raspy. I bet it would sound better in a mid muffler setup and keep the X because they seem to be less raspy on mid muffler setups like your cobra or get a H for even burble.

I'm still waiting to hear a 2011 GT with O/R H pipe and KR mufflers. That's the combo I would try first if I had a GT.

kooks always has some of the best sounding exhaust....the cold start up was horrible. The description on youtube called it "trumpeting" which i think is a great description lol. The second vid made my pants tight. Can't wait to here a fly by

Nice. That sounds NASTY!!!!! I don't care for the rear mounted mufflers 05 up. I have'nt heard any heard any S197s GT500 or not, that sound that sweet.:banana:

Sounded good, but whoever mentioned the under water sound of the older DOHC 4.6's I love that sound haha. I've never met anybody that doesn't like the sound of the 4.6 DOHC. I definitely think that sounded like a few of the C5Z's that I've seen.
