Best N/a Gear

4.10's suck! If you are truley wanting a good gear for a n/a application then you need a 4.30 ...no less....3.73 and 4.10 is based on old school mustangs...5.0 era... NOT a 99-04 stang especially a 2v...my buddy has 4.10's and we are changing them out to 4.30's...on a 4v it would be 4.56's...you will not be dissappointed with 4.30's!! The car still has alot left in 4th gear with the 4.10's...it definately need more gear to be revving higher on the way out of the 1/4....the car has gone 13.0's with just exhaust, gears, and pullies....it will go 12's EASY with the 4.30's...only 240 rwhp on the 03 GT.....4.30's!!!!

I don't know how you guys do it but my 1/4 times were horrible. 4.10's were just to much gear. I went down to 3.73's and ran 13.8 vs. 14.0 with 4.10's. I was able to get much better traction and I didn't lose as much time with the 1-2 shift as I did with 4.10's.

What kind of tires are you running... I was always able to hook with just nittos in my GT, and by just pulling 1.9's the car would run 13.30's all day with a few 13.20's, car only had intake, LT headers, no cats, borla mufflers, UD pullies, 4.10's, BBK TB, 275 nittos

put some sticky tires!!! you are gonna regret the gear change when you decide to get some slicks out back...bad enough it was 4.10's....4.30 4.30 4.30 4.30!!!

I'm running Nitto Drag Radials. 315/35's.

I got a K&N CAI, TB/Plenum, Bassani X and cat back, Diablo Tune, 3.73's with a built rear, blah blah. I hope to hope to hit 12's once I get a nitrous system hooked up. I would run 4.10's if a ran a taller tire.
