I got a few bucks to spend on a mod to my Cobra and wanted to pick everyones brain on what to do.
Currently the car is all stock except for a Off-Road H.
I am lowering the car this weekend as well.
I am looking to spend up to 400 for a mod.
What should I do?
Tuner, Gears, CAI, Pullies, Cat-back.
So many things to choose from.
I was leaning towards a tuner, but dont know how much I will gain being all stock.

gears + install might run you a little bit more than 400, but is definitely worth it. if your cap is 400 and no more, get a shifter and maybe a JLT or something.

What RPM and Gear do you go through the traps at the track with 4.30's?
I think Ive read 3.73 you go through 3rd gear at redline.

Also, what is your rpm in 5th gear around 60-65mph

Thanks for the tips.
It looks like Im gonna do gears.

Yea i also vote for gears...however, they will put you over 400 unless you do it yourself. id recommend an MGW shifter, and Jlt.

Don't waste your money on a tuner right now (a little too early). Go for some 4.10's as long as you see some power adder in the future 4.56's if there will be no power adder.

For your tuner to be effective you would have to take it and get your car tuned / or get a Mail order tune.

Good luck

if you want someone to install gears cheap for you, I have a friend that has a shop in west chester, and have a brand new set of 4.10s that i will sell you cheap. may be able to do it for under 300 with you purchasing the gears.
