I love them. When I first had them installed my car was an automatic. They really picked it up, but I wished I had gone with 4.10s, but being a 5 speed now, there really isn't a better all around gear for these cars or the 4.6 GTs. Only way I would go with 4.10s is if my car was a 4.6. The 4.10s are just too much for a 5.0 unless it has a big cam and heads and intake that will let it wind up 6500-6700 rpm. You will love them, it will be a lot different shifting it also, it will seem like you have to shift all the time, but that feeling will disappear quickly. Enjoy.
Ya I would have got 4.10's if I had a 99+ GT or if I did a PI headswap.
