Baseline pull with the boss 302 intake on our auto GT. It made 400/362 on our Mustang dyno. Shut the run down at 7600 and it was still pulling. Other mods are SS works longtubes, catted x pipe, MBRP race exhaust, 4.10 gears, JLT intake and a Amazon tune.

No tuning yet but lost 20hp under 6000rpm and gained 20hp above 7000rpm.

That pretty much seems to be the norm, it loses everywhere HP and TQ up till about 6800RPM then it starts to come back where the stock intake falls off. In talking to several speed shops most didn't recommend this if your a daily driver car, normal commuting around your actually slower unless you rev the piss out of the car and nobody yet knows how long this motor will last spinning 8K RPM all the time.

This should help pick it up a bit down low.

Im assuming this intake is losing low end power on GT's because our motor are not equipped with the cams that are used in the Boss and cant utilize the extra airflow under N/A applications. I could be wrong though. Im curious to see how they perform at the tracks.

Me too. I think the average guy is going to be dissapointed at the track if they don't have some heavy gears. There is no problem without the cams with the car pulling up top. Our car pulls hard right to 7600. But it needs the springs for sure just to keep things safe. We are going to do the Livernois heads, cams and springs next. Rick@Livernois has had some awesome runs with there car with this combo.
