Hey guys so on my way home today from work I was shifting into 3rd and my barton short shifter snapped in half! Luckily I was close to home and was able to drive home in 3rd gear. Has this happened to anyone? It was under normal driving conditions no harsh shifting or anything. I'm very surprised and disappointed that this can happen with a product that's suppose to be made with quality.

This is the second instance i've seen this reported. Someone posted about this on one of the Facebook groups a couple months back.

Had this issue before due to aggressive shifting, they replaced it no questions asked.

Third time I've seen this happen. Barton has great customer service though.

I also think they updated them......if I remember correctly.

Shoot Barton a call. They will replace it no problem. I would have hit them up first.
