I decided to take the cobra out this morning to run a few errands. The weather here hasn't reached the point where I hide the keys and start my winter mods yet. After a few highway pulls, carton of milk, and a new cd (yes i still buy them) it's time to head home. While turning right at the light from the exit ramp, some jackass blows through the light and almost t-bones the lady next to me and nearly side swipes my car. The seventeen year old in me decides to catch up with him and offer some not so subtle hand gestures. For half a mile I proceed to let him know I'm not happy with his driving skills offering him multiple chances to discuss this face to face. Then I notice a child in his backseat and reality sets in. I go on my way and my blood pressure subsides. Arrive home and all is good. I know it was idiotic to react the way I did but man was my adrenaline pumping. This is not a good car to drive while upset. All in all I'd rather share this post than one that begins with how I totaled my Terminator. Now it's time for football and beer!

Had that happen to me once long ago,(the child in the back seat thing), i felt like a dick in a way, but the way the guy was driving, he was putting his child in danger.

Should have smashed into his car and killed him infront of his kid, then adopted the kid for yourself. Then when the kid turned 18 told him the story and abandoned him in the woods with the soul shattering news.
It's would have been the only justifiable way to get even.

yea im kinda a hot head when i drive also when someone cuts me off or does something really stupid.

i think its just us men and our pride.

i try and think now before i act as usually i would go to the extreme when i was younger and actually get out of my car at the next light and pound on their car or their window and tell them how i was gonna kick their ass. usually they freaked out and drove off.

now im married with 2 little kids and i dont wanna end up in jail or dead for acting that way.

it takes a lot sometimes for me not to chase someone down. however that wonderful thing called a horn and the middle finger seem to help me a lot :)

Seeing people texting while driving is what really gets my blood to boil. They are 10X more dangerous than a drunk driver. You can tell by the way the car drifts then suddenly swerves back into the lane then "repeat" yet they don't consider the possible tragic consequences of their actions where texting their BFF is of a higher priority than theirs and everyone elses safety :smmon:

These cars definitely aren't something to drive when you're angry. Although going for a cruise really calms me down, if I'm mad, I don't want to be in the driver seat.

An angry driver in a car with the "intimidation factor" of a Terminator is the road going populations worst nightmare

........... they will catch you and you'll never get away from them :nonono:

We have all made mistakes in our life while driving. If not then you probably haven't been around long enough for it to happen yet, or you are one of the lucky ones. Fortunately I haven't done anything that has caused a wreck or injury to someone. I had a guy get really stupid on me beyond the point of being reasonable. Needless to say It got to the point I had to temporally disable the guy. Now days you have to really be careful because you, or someone else may be packing.
If something happens to me, and I know it wasn't due to someone being stupid, but just a accident I will just shake my head, give them a gesture of wiping the sweat off my head, or something of the sort.
Now if they are being stupid like texting, or driving reckless I think first and will react according to the severity of what they have done. I don't think I have ever really lost my cool though, other then the guy that assaulted me.
It's almost comical to me when I see people overreact in situations where it's not even justified to do so. Especially when it is something they actually caused, then they are the idiots.
