Ok @claybeatz here my diagnosis. Than we will prove them out. If at any point you dont understand my suggestions STOP!!! and ask me questions!!!! I really need to scan the BCM-B and PCM for pinpoint diagnosis but I obviously cant. So were gonna do this old school way. PLEASE FOLLOW THESE STEPS DIRECTLY AS I SUGGEST THEM AS WE STEP THRU THIS PROCESS. I NEED THE CORRECT INFO TO PROCEED!!!!!
My Diagnosis:
- BCM-B REVERSING LAMP OUTPUT HAS A SHORT TO VOLTAGE
-YOU lOST YOUR BCM-B MODULE
-REVERSING LAMP SWITCH INPUT CIRCUIT HAS A SHORT TO GROUND
- YOU LOST YOUR PCM
* I hope this not the outcome but if you lost your BCM-B or PCM you will have to go to the dealership to have them install and load the firmware (NO WAY AROUND THIS) I could do this for you if I was at your location but I am obviously not. I have all the proper tools as the dealership to provide that type of service.
LETS START!!!
1. First i want you to reattach the reverseing switch connector securely to the switch (Make sure its snug). Rescan your car again and tell me if you get the code fault (BCM-B DTC B1272:15) or a powertrain fault P????. I will wait for a response than move on. I will respond again as soon as I can!!!
