Call the guys at Vintage Wheel Works. They specialize in 16, 17, and 18" wheels on vintage cars. I run their 17" V48 wheels on my '70 Mach.

it will mostly depend on the rear suspension setup (if you have or which leaf springs you are running). depending on wheel width, 5.5 to 6.5 would be in the right range.

NOTE: I have heidts rear coilover suspension and run a vn427 17x9.5 with 6 backspacing.
