Well I finally got my Pulley and Tune on the truck this week and I hit the track to see what kinda numbers could be laid out. I got some pics and vids I'll post in a bit.

Now my mods are:

SCT SF3 with Lightning Force Tune
4Lbs Pulley and Hub from LFP
Magnaflow Catback
AEM Brute Force Cold Air
TR6's
160 Hypertech Stat

New Time:

60 FT: 1.81
1/8 Et: 8.00
1/8 Mph: 86.77

1/4 ET: 12.50
1/4 mph: 109.59

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nRMtWYnTXvg"]YouTube - Ford Lightning Run[/ame]

I ran 5 times and they were all 12.50's to 12.57 and all had 109 MPH. 60 foot times were 1.77-1.81 on the MT Drag Radials. When I had the 1.7 sixty foots the truck went slower then the low 1.8's!

Had an awesome day and I am VERY happy with the mods! 2 weeks ago at the track I didn't have the 4 lbs pulley nor the tune and I went 13.0@104, so I shaved 5 tenths with a 4 lbs pulley and a tune from LFP

Thank you Mark @ Lightning Force Performance for the parts and help! You got very happy LFP customer here...I'll be calling ya for some more parts this week!

I was talking to him a bit about the truck but was hard to communicate cause they were French. But what I got was he was running a Kenne Bell 3.2 with a Stock bore stock stroke motor with 2v heads. Was a bad ass setup that for sure!

Those are some good times.
Congrats.
How about a valve body and a better torque converter.

That would explain the lazy shifts. I bumped up the Shift pressure on the SCT but didn't notice much of a difference.

ugh I hate you. This is bull because I had almost the same mods as you do now and i run the same time now with my mods below as I did om that setup. Congrats on the new best! Wish I could say I had the same ecstatic feeling about my times. I wonder if I am slow because I got discount on mods. It's gotta even out somehow, right? LOL

Good results from very minimal mods. Valve body makes a world of difference.

Maybe I've got a Freak? I'm not sure because I went 13.0 @ 104 with just and SCT, AEM, 160 Stat and some Drag Radials. I Went down this weekend expecting to run 12.8's and after the first 12.5 I figured maybe it was a fluke But then I ran 4 more times all 12.5's and said ok maybe it's not.

I'll tell you one thing though....it's really nice to go to a track where they are actually spraying and heating up the VHT. It's a nice feeling to load up the truck and actually be able to let it fly without spinning.

That's an excellet ET and speed for such few mods. Do you by chance know what the DA was? (density altitude calculator)

Rich

Napierville Dragway is:

204 Ft Above Sea Level
39.2 Degrees F
30.25 Inches HG
65 Percent Humidity

Density Altitude: -1391 feet
Relative Density: 104.14 %

Was definitely the best day to pick up a great ET that's for sure. I have another one for you from when I was on the stock pulley...

Luskville Dragway:

Track Elevation: 200 Ft Above Sea Level
Air Temperature: 64.4 degrees F

Barometric Pressure: 30.09 inches Hg

Relative Humidty: 49 %

Density Altitude: 537 feet
Relative Density: 98.44 %

Best Et: 13.0@ 104
Mods: SCT, AEM Brute Force CAI, Hypertech 160 Stat

awesome times for a 4lb lower!

i just looked back and noticed the ambient temps at the time you raced...watch your MAF counts and a/f, and be careful as a lot of guys have gone BOOM around 10 degrees!
